Platinum Finance Limited was incorporated in the Republic of Malawi on 21st September, 2018 under the Companies Act (No. 15 of 2013) with registration number 1011138. It is wholly owned by Mr. Ian Peter Kaunda.
The principal business activities of the company are to offer affordable micro-loans to Employees of various Organisations including Civil Servants, small business owners, motivated entrepreneurs and low-income residents of Malawi.

Our Journey Through Time
Foundation
Platinum Finance was established with a focus on microfinance services for underserved communities in Malawi.
Expansion
Opening of an office in Lilongwe and introduced foreign exchange services to meet growing customer demands.
Growth
Opened a head office in Lilongwe and 2 new branches across Malawi and expanded operations to neighboring countries and reached the milestone of serving over 50,000 customers.

Ian Peter Kaunda
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kaunda has 13 years' work experience in academic, Human Resource and administration areas, he holds a Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Business Studies.
Mr. Emmanuel Mwakifwamba
Chief Financial Officer
12+ years in financial management and strategic planning with expertise in microfinance operations.
